8 iOS Apps That Teach You How to Dance
If it seems like it's been months since Apple released anything new, it's because it has. With the exception of a MacBook Air refresh in June, nothing new has emerged from Cupertino since last October, when the iPad mini made its debut. But autumn is nearly upon us, which promises to bring a bevy of goodies for the holiday shopping season, not least of all the new iPhone. Or iPhones, as a series of increasingly convincing leaks and rumors have seemingly revealed. With an official unveiling (possibly) art of cooking on the near horizon, we've pulled art of cooking together the most believable rumors and reports we've heard so far, and boiled them down to a list of what we're likely see in the coming weeks.
When Sources told AllThingsD to mark Sept. 10 off on our calendars for the annual iPhone event, but we didn't believe it until Jim Dalrymple followed up with his trademark "Yep." What While we'd all like to think that Phil Schiller is going to surprise us with a radically redesigned iPhone 6, don't get your hopes up. Plans The usual suspects will be locking in millions of customers with preorders and launch-day extravaganzas, but this year, T-Mobile will joining the fun, shaking things up with its Uncarrier plans. We wouldn't be surprised to see AT&T and Verizon try to compete with somewhat looser contract stipulations, especially with the tempting iPhone C luring people away with pre-paid freedom. How much Details are a tad sketchy here, but we see no reason to believe Apple will be changing its pricing scheme for the iPhone 5S. As far as the iPhone C, however, art of cooking expectations are that it will cost less for buyers looking to stay away from carrier contracts, likely in the $349-$499 range. Chip art of cooking Each annual iPhone update has brought a brand new chip, so that means this year's model will feature the A7 processor, bringing the usual speed and power improvements. What's less clear is what will be inside the iPhone C. Conventional wisdom suggests it will utilize art of cooking the same chip as the iPhone 5, but with a great deal of secrecy surrounding the new model, Apple might have a few tricks up its sleeve. Capacity When Apple introduced the iPhone 4S, it doubled the capacities for the same price, offering a 64GB version and eliminating the undersized 8GB model. But with so much to store, even the 16GB version is starting to feel small. Apple released a 128GB iPad earlier this year at the usual $100 premium, so it only makes sense that it finds its way into the iPhone. Design Every "S" model has brought a nearly identical enclosure as that of its predecessor, and it looks like the iPhone 5S will continue this trend. What will be new, however, is its lower-cost cousin, art of cooking the iPhone C, which looks to be a cross between the iPod touch and the iPod classic. While the iPhone 5S is certain to retain its aluminum case, the C will be all plastic with a bit more rounding around the edges. View the full image
Gold Since the iPhone 3G, Apple has offered its flagship handset in two flavors: black or white. But this year looks to be different, firstly with the inclusion of a gold model for the 5S. Rumors have run the gamut from mustard to champagne, but there's been enough corroboration to believe that there will be a third color option this year. Color If gold isn't enough to tickle your fancy, it also appears that the "C" in the lower-cost iPhone will stand for Color. That means far more choices--we've seen no less than five case variations floating around the Internet: bright shades of blue, yellow, green and r,ed along with gleaming white.
