Given that our Neanderthal cousin does not exist for some time and that hunting is no longer our only pleasure, here is a list of things (skills / knowledge) that today's man should possess.
First, it assumes that: Has a drivers license knows how to fill up the car with fuel, known to arm / disarm car alarm knows to open / close a computer, surf the net, send email, and (perhaps most important) to use Google knows how to change the TV channel on the remote (and change the remote control batteries when applicable) knows how to make a call, add a new contact in the address book, and write an SMS knows to beat a nail and to remove a screw
1 Photos: use a digital camera D-SLR, download pictures to your personal computer, cooking 101 edit them (Red Eye removal, cropping), organize them and publish them (Picasa Web Album, ACDSee).
7 to read a map: firstly the classical paper, to handle tourist traffic signs intro local / foreign country, not to mention the GPS, which would not have to have any secret.
