After a breakfast in a restaurant decor of the 50s, we will get our rental car in a nearby hotel. We organized a tour around 15h, but we're cooking classes for kids free before. We go to the hotel school in the Napa Valley, the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. As it happens noon, we decided to eat there. These are students who prepare food and we serve it in a beautiful setting.
The main building of the institute is typical of the buildings of the vineyards of the valley. Thank you to Guy, a friend of Jean-Yves and Gerard who recommended this visit. We then head to Robert Mondavi Winery where we will do a tour of the vineyards, cellars and where we will taste four wines.
After the tasting, cooking classes for kids we take a group photo. Some are not accustomed to wine and laughter are not forced. It happens now 17h. We go to our hotel at the entrance to the valley. We will take a chicken dinner at a fast food ... which will contrast with the great dinner at the hotel school. We end the day with a walk around the area.
