Do not feel as confident that the excessive use of this formulation somalier is due to a high alcohol consumption, but see in it rather a philosophy of life and conviviality. Because here in Napa, when drinking in good company one must "Cheeriser *" before starting to wear his glass in his mouth!
Indeed, from May to October, every first Friday of the month a municipal event is organized by a special unit of the Chamber of Commerce. Given that my internship takes place in this very Chamber of Commerce, I am fortunate to be part of the organizing team and participate in one of the latest editions of 2011 of CHEERS.
Through the partnership with more than 70 wineries, the public has the opportunity in part against the purchase of a VIP invitation to access more than 25 wine tasting booths. A precious document that many snapped!
We could compare this event to the wine festival that takes place every year in Bordeaux, with the only difference that the whole city of Santa Helena is mobilized and not a few stakeholders. It is for the most part, the perfect opportunity to share a good time with his friends, and to create new ones ... As you may know, and without getting an apology for alcohol, consumption of alcohol contributes inhibition ... and in fact encourages meetings, so much for the positive side of the thing!
The CHEERS for the population of Santa Helena is a word "usability!" A civic mobilization, in which everyone participates, either the famous cooking somalier school "Culinary Institute of America" (a reference in itself! The cream of the cream as they say ...) through somalier the taco vendor somalier on the corner.
This event is open to all a good example of social cohesion. Because in the space of one evening all forget their differences and come together around a glass of wine to taste, somalier discuss and stroll the sandstone stands and stalls! The city is celebrating, stalls, barbecues, various events punctuate the streets of Santa Helena, people seem happy!
I loved the teamwork, emulation group motivating each other to organize such an event! For me, this was a first, somalier it had to be perfect!
The pressure was so strong, yet so intense! That we should not disappoint my colleagues! The establishment of such an event, allowed me to have fun in the preparation of such events, despite the mass of work to provide!.
But what Friday, a CHEERS! not a Friday as the others, on a Friday so appreciated by the people of St Helena and traders, it was unwise to miss, everything had to be on top!
What a relief to see that everything went well! Already look forward the next one! I should soon prepare a demonstration for the coming weeks ... I think it speaks to extend the "Cheers"
But even if I do not participate not supposed to host the next "Cheers," I am willing to invite you on the occasion of the latter, you will discover the beautiful wine region of Napa Valley, somalier and pretty town of Santa Helena, where you can share good moments of conviviality somalier with its inhabitants, this around one or more glasses of good California wine finally PLUS for 21 years!
