Saturday night on a walk to drink in Halandri and in a last effort to park before they finally end up in the parking lot, we turn to Homer and my eye falls fleeting in a new place with a sign "THE SEMINAR PROJECT". I have no idea what it is (although as it turned out as it should), so I use the invaluable help of google. Cooking seminars by chef John Loukakou, hands-on! The information seemed super enough. The very next day filling the application form for my first lesson cutting vegetables (not even noticed he was just 3 days later) and got lucky! The position opened after a last minute cancellation, so Wednesday schoolgirl found myself cooking for one afternoon!
The space modern watched in detail, minimal aesthetic, light industrial schoolyard reminded home, cooking workshops and restaurant together. Gave you the feeling that nothing is placed randomly and it probably was not. The symmetry of the furniture and the harmony of colors give the space warmth they needed more than 20 strangers schoolyard people who spent their afternoon in an unfamiliar for most culinary experience.
Embarrassment us, though on an unjustified, more than felt! Think how wonderful schoolyard lemon cake waiting for us at the reception with coffee and orange juice few touch ... Fortunately such things are leaving my shyness!
Split into predefined groups, we sat at our fully equipped stalls and the lesson schoolyard began. Chef John Loukakos shared secrets with us and we we took our knives ... for a good cause! The great thing about the SPECIFIC seminar course that was indeed one of the reasons that prompted me to pick is that the knowledge of the course into practice! The chef and co-teachers spend each bench, correct, and advise the course evolves into a unique interactive experience creativity!
The smells, the unique collaboration with the "classmate" My Joanna and delicious flavors of our dishes ... far exceeded my expectations! At the end of the course we had the chance to taste our creations with a glass of white wine and a delicious dessert.
